It is possible that you don’t produce enough tears, or the quality of the tears is poor. Tear film is critical when it comes to health of the eyes and the quality of our vision. If the tear film is out of balance and unstable then our eyes begin to suffer. We have many glands that surround out eyelids that are intended to secrete lipids into our tear film. If they don’t function properly our tears can easily evaporate and leave us with poor tear film coating.
